An unnatural drought hits Darinel and Tuskja’s kingdom. People are getting desperate and blame King Darinel’s dragon, Idunal, testing the close friendship between the two.
King Darinel and his dragon set out to find the reason for the drought and hopefully discover new water resources. Apart from the urgent human need, Idunal has to fight a sudden restlessness and desire to leave his human friends despite their crisis, yet his friendship with Darinel keeps him on the chase for a magical plant.
Idunal stumbles upon love as he discovers a dragoness hidden in the mountains. The human worries suddenly seem less urgent as she fills his head and heart with new ideas and possibilities.
But is she what she appears to be? Darinel, trying to suppress his jealousy, has his doubts, as there is no natural explanation for the drought affecting only the humans. But how to approach a love-stick friend without destroying the trust they share?
